Through our ongoing Vision2040 Master Plan process, we are committed to receiving feedback from the public – both at our public meetings and via our website. Recently, we received questions and comments around the “why and how” of the master planning process, and inquiries related to future land development.

We invite you to join us for our third set of public workshops to be held in June to learn the progress we’ve made on our Vision2040 Master Plan that will guide RDU’s development for the next 25 years.

For more than 20 years, our region has enjoyed nonstop service to London… and we’ve loved every moment of that experience. But, we’ve waited for our second transatlantic route. Another option to the European continent and the possibilities beyond.

The next time you drive to RDU, the airport landscape may look a lot different. That’s because sections of Terminal 1 dating back to the 1950’s are coming down. The work began in late April and will continue through the summer.
