RDU offers two options for employee parking. Please select from the following two options for information on the type of parking that matches your employment relationship.
Update: RDU is temporarily consolidating its parking operations beginning Monday, March 23, in response to COVID-19 impacts. These changes will be in effect for the next 30 days – at which time we will re-evaluate parking demand to determine lot availability – and will impact all business partners, employees, guests and visitors to the airport.
Beginning Monday, March 23, all employees who currently park in Economy 4 will now park in ParkRDU Central PG1 or PG2, level 2 and lower, located between Terminals 1 and 2. To access PG1 and PG2, use entry lanes 1 and 2, which are the far left entry lanes to Park Central. Employees will access the gate via their badges. The monthly fees will remain $11/month for RDU-based staff and $20/month for non-based staff.
Please ensure vehicles are not parked in Central for more than 30 days. Employees will not be allowed access to Park Premier and will have to pay the gate rate if they choose to park in Premier by pulling a ticket.
Economy buses will stop running at 11:59 p.m. Sunday. Employees who parked in an Economy lot or Express should look for the Express shuttle at the terminal curb pickup location. The Express shuttle will take riders to these remote lots.
Staff currently parking in the Managers’ Lots should continue to do so, as their badges will not have access to Central.
This program is currently inactive. However, it should resume mid-summer 2019. Please check in with the RDU parking office for status before requesting an appointment by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 919-840-7596. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you.
