RDU Airport, NC – To celebrate the holiday season, travelers flying out of Raleigh-Durham International Airport this week will be greeted by live music and Santa Claus. Also featured as part of the festivities are wine tastings, book signings and a fundraiser for the USO.

On Monday, local musicians began performing in the ticketing and bag claim areas. Starting today, passengers will also encounter musicians on the concourse.

Tomorrow’s events include Victorian carolers, six musical acts and a wine tasting. Santa will arrive on Friday, along with local musicians and a cookie fundraiser for the USO of North Carolina RDU Center. Volunteers will be handing out cookies and accepting donations to support its mission of providing care and support to military members and their families as they travel through RDU.
