In the past few months, we’ve made major announcements about the new shops and restaurants coming to Terminal 1 as part of The Shops of RDU.  Some have asked, how exactly do you pick what comes to the airport? Though we’d love to just handpick our favorite eats, the process is actually quite deliberate. 

A few weeks ago, I went on a field trip with several colleagues to the Raleigh Convention Center. We went downtown to participate in a meeting of the local organizing committee for the International Bluegrass Music Association’s World of Bluegrass, which is coming to Raleigh in September.

Today, there’s a flight getting ready to depart for Boston via Aer Lingus and a flight at the same time to Cincinnati on Air France.  Later today, we’ll have an El Al flight depart for New York-JFK and flights to Dallas this afternoon via Qantas. Where am I?  Terminal 2, of course!
