RDU began 2013 with a flurry of new service announcements including increased service to Los Angeles and Denver, more options to reach Florida and the Newark area and, in June, to St. Louis. Here’s a recap of all the new flights that have launched from RDU so far this year.

Whew! We completed the budget. For months, Airport Authority staff have worked collaboratively to crunch numbers for our new fiscal year, which begins April 1.  Yesterday, Airport Director Mike Landguth and Finance Director Tom Barritt presented the budget to the board for its consideration. They will vote on it next Thursday.
