Great things are coming to RDU in 2016. We’re excited about 7 new routes launching from our airport this year. Of course, the most anticipated is Paris, but we’re also ready to welcome Salt Lake City as a new destination and new options to Atlanta, Cancun, Los Angeles, Orlando and Philadelphia.

We just wrapped up the second Public Workshops for Vision2040, our Master Plan process. We were thankful for everyone who joined us for these events in Raleigh and Durham and had some great conversations with everyone who attended.

It’s hard to believe that we have reached 2016! It’s even harder to believe that we’ve already completed one-third of Vision2040, our Master Planning process. We have had great feedback and conversations with our community throughout this entire process and thank everyone who has provided input to date.  But, it’s not over yet.

It’s mid-January 2016, and we’re just into our first week of really cold weather. Winter arrived late this year, but it’s here and your airport is ready. Let’s take a look at how wintry weather impacts the airport.
