New Airline Will Fly to Eight Destinations
Breeze Airways became the latest airline on Thursday to launch service at RDU, with nonstop flights to New Orleans, Hartford and Providence beginning in February, followed by Columbus, Jacksonville, Los Angeles, Louisville and Pittsburgh in May.
“Breeze has already shown it is fully invested in serving the Research Triangle region by announcing more nonstop destinations even before their first flight launched at RDU,” said Michael Landguth, president and CEO of the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority. “We are excited to welcome their inaugural flight and we look forward to continuing to grow with them.”
The partnership between RDU and Breeze will continue to expand as the airline looks for new ways to meet the demand for new routes.
“As we start service in Raleigh-Durham, we are proud to introduce new nonstop destinations from the airport at really low fares,” said Tom Doxey, Breeze Airways’ President. “We now offer eight nonstop destinations from the Research Triangle region, even before our first flight, and will keep adding more flights as demand grows.”
Breeze prides itself on offering affordable airfares, providing outstanding customer service and deploying new technology. It became RDU’s 14th airline when its inaugural flight arrived on Thursday.
