September 27, 2018: ParkRDU Economy 3 Environmental Assessment Public Workshop
The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority will hold a public workshop on the proposed ParkRDU Economy 3 Lot Expansion on September 27, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Airport Authority’s offices, in Conference Room 100 of the RDU Center at 1000 Trade Drive on the Raleigh-Durham International Airport, Morrisville, NC 27560. RDU officials and consultants will be available to discuss the Environmental Assessment process for the proposed expansion of the ParkRDU Economy 3 lot, slated for airport property south of Terminal 1. Drop in to talk with project staff, review maps and view exhibits. No reservations are necessary. For questions about accessibility or to request an accommodation please contact (919) 840-7700. September 21, 2018 – Notice of Unclaimed Firearms and Notice of Sale and/or Disposition of Unclaimed Firearms by RDUAA Law Enforcement Department
Pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes §15-11.2, notice is hereby given that on or about September 21, 2018, the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority Law Enforcement Department has in its possession and custody various unclaimed firearms including Glock 23 .40 cal., Glock 21 .45 cal, Glock 42, Glock 32C, Walther PPS 9mm, Smith and Wesson SD9, Smith and Wesson 38, Ruger LCP .380, Ruger P89 DA0, Soc it Flli Galesi-Brescia 6.35 mm, and FN Harston FNP9 9mm, which have been held for more than 180 days. Any person who may have a claim in any of these firearms must report that claim to the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority Law Enforcement Department within 30 days after the publication this notice and no later than October 31, 2018. In accordance with the statute, unclaimed firearms will be sold, traded, or exchanged to a federally licensed firearm dealer or otherwise disposed of.
