Please be sure to list the RDU Traffic Ordinance Violation Ticket Number or include a copy of the ticket with your payment.

    You may pay in person by personal check or money order made payable to the Raleigh-Durham International Airport Authority. Credit and Debit cards also accepted.

The RDU Airport Operations Center is located directly across the road from the entrance to the RDU Parking Garage. The RDU Police Department is also in this building. Payment in person will only be accepted Monday-Friday during regular business hours (8 a.m. – 4 p.m.)

Process to Appeal Charges or Violations

If you wish to appeal the fees, charges or penalties assessed for the noted violation you must request so in writing. Submit a clear and complete written statement describing your situation. Mail your statement and any supporting evidence within five (5) days from the date of issuance of the charge(s) to:

Appeals statements may be submitted by email to the RDU appeals office.

The Appeals Officer shall determine if the ticket was issued in accordance with the procedures set forth in Chapter 11 Traffic and Parking Ordinance. If it was not issued in accordance with the ordinance the ticket shall be dismissed. If the ticket was determined to be issued in accordance with the ordinance, you will be informed in writing and will have five (5) days in which to pay the fee.

Note: If the amount due is not paid within twenty (20) days from the date of issuance or appeal determination, an administrative fee of $50 will be added to the amount owed. The penalties and fees due the Airport Authority hereunder shall constitute a lien upon the vehicle, and the Airport Authority may pursue legal means to collect such obligations from you and/or the owner of the vehicle.

Returned checks or money orders will be prosecuted with civil or criminal charges.
