Flight Tracking
The flight tracking system provides information about the type of operation (landing, take-off, transient), runways used, type and registration of aircraft, altitudes and other data related to flight traffic at RDU. This system allows historic queries, determine the point of closest approach for an individual aircraft, flight paths and altitudes, see sound levels and many other features to help you understand the aircraft traffic in proximity to RDU. Click here for the Authority’s flight tracking system that provides access to FAA radar data for the region surrounding RDU in close to real time.
When using the flight tracking system, please take the time to review how to use the system by clicking on the “?” symbol in the welcome message.
The system does not have the ability to track or disseminate information regarding military aircraft or their flight tracks.
