On Site Media Coverage
Media covering stories at RDU are requested to contact us as a courtesy prior to arrival. All media covering stories on site must wear media ID at all times.
Media is expected to parking in public parking lots, with the exception of satellite trucks. Satellite trucks may park prior to the canopy at both Terminal 1 and 2. Trucks must be attended at all times, no exceptions will be granted.
Interior live shots are permitted with wireless technology. Cords must not be placed in public walking paths. Be mindful of egress. Also, film only from common areas. Restaurants, shops and some airline operating spaces are private leaseholds.
Media are also permitted to cover stories from our Cell Phone Lot, Observation Park and General Aviation terminals.
Only ticketed passengers are allowed through TSA security checkpoints. At select times each year, the Airport Authority will take media through to concourse areas to update B-roll and photography.
