Following the theme handmade, mind made, the three major elements of Terminal 2 include glass, steel and wood. Here, a stained glass mural lines the international arrivals corridor above the concourse.

Terminal 2 has a spacious, column-free design complete with moving walkways. The temporary wall in the distance will be removed once phase two is complete.

The ticketing lobby of Terminal 2 features two freestanding ticketing islands, which help reduce lines and congestion in the check in area.

Gate rooms such as this one offer passengers plenty of seating, including power and USB outlets on more than 20 percent of concourse seats.

Wood trusses line the concourse over The Shops of RDU. Gordon Biersch is one of a number of new restaurants to open locations in Terminal 2.
