Winter 2009

Crews completed demolition of the former Terminal C and completed site preparation work for the Phase II of Terminal 2. The basement level of Terminal 2 was excavated and underground utilities and other pipe work were set in place. The building’s foundations along with ground and basement level walls and floors were poured in anticipation of steel assembly in the Spring.

Crews completed the demolition of Terminal C and removed debris were cleared from the site

Concrete pavement from the ramp of Terminal C was removed as crews worked to prepare the site for construction

After the site was prepared, piping that house the buildings utilities was laid under the site.

Crews excavated the basement level from the site and also poured the foundations of the building.

Once the foundations were completed, walls and floors for basement and ground level rooms were formed and poured.

Cranes, such as this one, began arriving on the site in late winter to prepare for the arrival of steel and other large building materials.
