Media Parking

Media conducting stories at the airport may park in the hourly and daily parking garages located between Terminals A and C. Height restrictions prohibit live trucks from entering the garage facilities. Vehicles parked in unauthorized spaces will be towed.

Live Shots
Television live shots are not permitted inside the terminal areas. All cables must be out of pedestrian traffic or taped down. Live trucks must be attended at all times.

1. Terminal 1 Curbside – South of the Continental Airlines entrance. Designated area is marked with orange cones. Live trucks must park in single file to ensure visibility for vehicles approaching the terminal.

2. Terminal 2 Curbside – Upper level on the north end of the building.

3. Observation Park – Located just north of the FAA control tower.

4. RDU Airport Authority Administration Building – Located in the rental car area across the street from Alamo Car Rental.

Aircraft take-offs and landings can be filmed from Observation Park, the General Aviation Terminal balcony and the RDU Airport Authority Administration Building.
