Parking Rate Change at RDU Goes
into Effect July 1

RDU Airport, NC – The rate for parking in the daily section of Raleigh-Durham International Airport’s garage will change effective tomorrow, July 1. The maximum daily rate of $10 will remain unchanged. However, the hourly rate for parking in the daily sections will increase from $1 to $2 per hour up to the $10 maximum.

The change is an effort to manage garage parking more effectively to ensure spaces are available for customers parking for more than 24 hours. The hourly section of the garage is designed for short-term parkers who are picking up and dropping off passengers. The rate in the hourly sections of the garage will remain unchanged at $1 per hour with a daily maximum of $24.

A new rate structure for RDU’s park and ride lots will also go into effect tomorrow. The new rate will be a flat fee of $6 per day. Currently, the rate in the park and ride lots is $1 per hour with a daily maximum of $6 per day.
