RDU Continues Runway Rehabilitation Project

RDU Airport, NC – Crews at Raleigh-Durham International Airport are continuing a project to rehabilitate the runway adjacent to Terminal A. Beginning July 2, the runway will be closed each night from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Work on this phase is expected to be complete August 29, weather permitting.

The closure will not affect travelers. Residents living near the airport may notice a slight adjustment in flight patterns as commercial aircraft is routed to the airport’s runway adjacent to Terminal C during the closure.
