Memorial Day Kicks Off Summer Travel at Raleigh-Durham International Airport
WHAT:
The Transportation Security Administration and the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority will kick off the Memorial Day weekend with a media availability to discuss tips for summer travelers.
The number of passengers traveling through RDU in the first four months of the year is up five percent compared to the same period last year. This trend is expected to continue throughout the summer.
The TSA and RDU will discuss the continued limitations on liquids and gels permitted through security checkpoint, as well as tips for parking, families and airline check-in.
