Southwest Airlines Adds Flights to Tampa and Orlando RDU Airport, NC – Southwest Airlines is increasing its service at Raleigh-Durham International Airport with the addition of daily frequencies to Orlando and Tampa Bay. Beginning Monday, November 20, 2006, Southwest will offer one additional flight to Orlando increasing the number of daily nonstop flights to four. A third daily nonstop flight to Tampa Bay will also be added. With these new flights, Southwest will have 30 daily nonstop flights to eight destinations nationwide. These flights will be a welcome addition during one of the peak travel times, Thanksgiving. Southwest began operations at RDU in 1999 with twelve flights to five destinations. ### |
