RDU Holds
Annual Customer Appreciation Day
RDU Airport, NC-
On Wednesday, October 8, Raleigh-Durham International Airport will hold
its annual Customer Appreciation Day. Airlines, rental car companies and
RDU Landing shops and restaurants will join the Airport Authority in recognizing
the importance of its customers to the airport and industry's success.
Festivities will be held in each of the airport's terminals from 10 a.m.
- 4 p.m.
The event will feature samples
from airport restaurants, discount coupons, raffle prizes and special
promotions.
Airport Authority staff and
volunteer ambassadors will greet passengers, provide travel tips and answer
questions.
Customer Service Week, which
is held annually the first week of October, is a national event devoted
to recognizing the importance of customer service.
Airport partners participating
in this year's Customer Appreciation Day are AirTran Airways, American
Airlines, Anton AirFoods, Delta Airlines, Dulles Airport Taxi, Northwest
Airlines, The Paradies Shops, Southwest Airlines, Superior Shoe Shine,
Travelex America, United Express, US Airways and W.H. Smith.
