Delta Connection Adds Service from RDU to Ft. Lauderdale
RDU Airport, NC (May 29, 2003) - Beginning September 1, 2003, Triangle area travelers will be able to fly nonstop to one of the country’s most popular leisure destinations. Delta Connection, a division of Delta Airlines, today announced it will begin service between Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Chautauqua Airlines, one of Delta’s commuter partners, will operate the two daily flights.
Delta, along with Delta Connection, currently offers 35 daily departures from RDU to seven destinations, including four daily departures to Orlando. Florida is a popular destination for Triangle leisure travelers.
