Southwest Airlines Announces Daily Flight to Las Vegas
RDU Airport, NC (May 16, 2003) – Beginning October 5, Southwest Airlines will begin nonstop service between Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Las Vegas. With the new service, Triangle area travelers will now be able to fly directly to Las Vegas seven days a week.
Southwest also announced that on October 5, it will add a daily departure to Baltimore-Washington International Airport. The flight will bring to six the number of daily flights the airline offers to the popular business destination.
