RDU Auction Airport to Sell used Equipment and Lost Items

RDU Airport, NC --- The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority will hold an auction Saturday, September 9th 2000 beginning at 10 a.m. to sell abandoned vehicles, equipment and lost and found items.

A dozen Authority-owned vehicles will be sold including a cargo van, backhoe and a 5-wheeler. Abandoned vehicles will also be sold in addition to smaller items from the RDU lost and found bin including cameras, watches, jewelry, luggage, pagers, cell phones, toys, umbrellas and more.

To get to the Airport Authority's maintenance facility, follow the signs toward Terminal A. Just before Terminal A, turn left in front of the new parking deck and follow the auction signs.

A preview for auction items begins at 8 a.m. Saturday morning. Wester Auction Company of Garner is managing the sale.
