Passenger Statistics

In 2007, just over 10 million passengers traveled through Raleigh-Durham International Airport. This is only the second time in the airport’s history that it has passed the 10 million mark. In 2000, 10.4 million travelers flew through RDU. The arrival of two new airlines, the return of United Airlines and the addition of 30 new flights to popular business and leisure destinations contributed to the growth. A total of 10.034 million passengers traveled through RDU, up 6.4 percent compared to 2006.
