In 2005, Delta added a nonstop flight to Salt Lake City, Utah which gets you to some magnificent slopes in less than five hours. Fly into Salt Lake and then catch one of the regularly scheduled shuttles to Park City, Utah for a variety of snow-covered outdoor activities.
Park City is home to many ski resorts including Deer Valley, where the snow can be incredibly soft while mountain vistas offer a beautiful backdrop. Park City itself, originally a silver mining town, offers a cool hang out when off the slopes. Trendy boutiques, bars, clubs and eateries (more than 100) seem to be everywhere, but a nighttime stroll is still peaceful, particularly as snow begins to fall and images of fresh powder on the mountain begin to dance in the head.
