RDU Rings in the New Year with Much to Celebrate
As we close the books on 2005, we have so much to celebrate at Raleigh-Durham International Airport. With an increase in passengers, service to new destinations and the preparation for the renovation of Terminal C's north concourse, RDU continues its trend of positive growth. Yet, there is no way we could celebrate without you, our traveling public. Our success is measured by the quality of our service to you and how much you use the airport.
In this issue of the RDU Update, we share the news of our new Airport Operations Center, holiday festivities and travel trends. It is our goal to share with you information on both the news at RDU and in the world of travel. We appreciate that you have made RDU your airport of choice and want to keep you informed of any changes that may affect your travel experience.
At RDU, we take customer service very seriously. We use it as a benchmark for our success, and ask all airport tenants to set a similar example. Be sure to read the article about our recent customer service celebration. This issue also features a story about Carol Palmer of the RDU USO, who took customer service to the highest possible level when she assisted in the Gulf Region after Hurricane Katrina.
RDU is an airport with a heart. For that reason, we like to take time to share our good news with you. Thanks for allowing us to serve you at RDU in 2005 and we look forward to the privilege of serving you even more in 2006.
All the best,

W. Stephens Toler, Chairman
