Nearly 9,000 parking spaces will continue to be available within walking distance of the terminals:
• All hourly parking will be located on the lower level of the parking garage.
• Daily parking will be available on all other levels of the open garage.
People Are Traveling More…Especially for the Summer
During peak travel periods this spring and summer, parking between the terminals may fill more frequently. Customers will then be redirected to a Park & Ride lot. Passengers are reminded to read the electronic signs and listen to 1610AM upon entering the airport for information on current parking availability.
Use Exit Express
Motorists parking in the garage between Terminals A and C are reminded to use Exit Express to pay for parking quickly and easily.
• Use Exit Express to pay for short stays and long trips.
• Don't want to use your credit card for $1.00? Look for the conveniently-located machines that accept cash and credit.
• Should you need one, receipts are available at all machines, simply look for the receipt prompt.
Don't Forget the Park & Ride Lots
RDU offers over 7,000 parking spaces in Park & Ride lots 3 and 4. Shuttle bus service is available between the lots and airport terminals. The shuttle service operates every 15 minutes from the Park & Ride lots, beginning at 4:00 a.m. in Park & Ride 3 and runs 24-hours-a-day in Park & Ride 4. Rates at these Park & Ride lots are $1 per hour with a $6 daily maximum.
