RDU Greets Holiday Travelers
with Special Events |
The holiday season is in full gear at RDU and the airport continues the celebration it began during the Thanksgiving holiday travel season. Year-end festivities include live music, special guests, in-store promotions and more.
Young holiday travelers will enjoy visits from Clifford the Big Red Dog, Isabelle the Clown and Santa Claus. Volunteers will also be handing out coloring books to help children pass the time. |
 |
Throughout the holiday season, RDU stores and restaurants will also offer special promotions and discounts on holiday gifts.
Holiday Music Series
Local artists will bring a variety of musical genres into the terminal as part of RDU’s holiday music series, which picks up again on December 17. Musical entertainers include Tony Williamson, The Dixieland Band and the Victorian Carolers.
The live music will be featured in the pre-security areas of both terminals. For a complete list of musical acts to be featured throughout the holidays, please visit www.rdu.com.
