What’s New at RDU? Flights to Columbus, JetBlue to Boston and More…


With Autumn, comes new changes to RDU’s air service.

American Eagle recently added two direct flights to Columbus, Ohio. The new destination gives RDU’s customers 38 nonstop destinations.

RDU’s newest air carrier, JetBlue, added a nonstop flight to Boston, MA. JetBlue now offers five daily nonstop flights from RDU; the four others go to New York’s JFK airport.

November 18 marks the tenth anniversary of Air Canada’s first flight to Toronto from RDU.

Southwest will increase service to Orlando and Tampa, FL on November 20 just in time for the cold winter weather. Southwest now goes to Orlando four times a day and Tampa three times a day.


Borders Now Open
at RDU


The newest addition to RDU is now open. Borders opened on Saturday, October 7 in Terminal A across from Varsity Bar & Grill. The store will be open daily from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The store offers a huge selection of bestseller books along with an assortment of magazines and music.
